Copper tube (Alloy 12200) has been evaluated by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. To ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in drinking water supplies ofpH 6.5 and above. Drinking water supplies which are less than pH 6.5 may require corrosion control to limit leaching of copper into the drinking water.
Copper tube has been NSF classified by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. only to ensure that specific analyzed samples met regulatory requirements.
